BROOKE PLAND

Pland​ studied communication, journalism, and French at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has worked as a copywriter for a leading women's travel blog and as a news, profiles, & features journalist for an independent digital publication. She also has written extensively through her own blogging and social media platforms over the last ten years. She specializes in magazine and feature writing and is most passionate about long-form creative non-fiction.
 
When she’s not writing, Pland loves exploring other countries and cultures, or even discovering new treasures in her own city of Sacramento. Her favorite adventures yet have been practicing her French during a four-month stay in Paris and spending two summers teaching English in the Balkans.
