BROOKE PLAND

Pland​ studied communication, journalism, and French at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has worked as a copywriter for a leading women's travel site, an independent social justice reporting platform, and independently through her own blogging and social media work. She specializes in travel, magazine, and feature writing and is passionate about writing creative non-fiction.

 

Presently, she works as a freelancer and writes two collections on Substack, Quarter Life Crisis and The Willow Tree.  

 

When she’s not writing, Pland loves exploring other countries and cultures, or even discovering new treasures in her own city of Sacramento. Her favorite adventure yet has been spending two summers teaching English in the Balkans.
